My stay at the hotel was quite average. While the room was comfortable and had a decent view, I found the staff lacking in customer service. The facility had some nice amenities, but recent policy changes made it less family-friendly. Overall, there were some positives, but I left feeling underwhelmed.

Rooms
7.0
The room was nice and comfortable, with beds that were better than most I've experienced. However, the promised mountain view turned out to be just a view of a parking lot, which was disappointing.
Service
5.0
The staff was underwhelming and almost rude, which really affected my overall experience. As a frequent guest, I expected better, especially when I was told there would be no room upgrades available.
Location
5.0
While the location had potential, the view I received was laughable. I was expecting a mountainside view but instead got a parking lot. I hope others have better luck.

The hotel had decent amenities, but recent changes in guest policies made it less enjoyable for families. This was a pity considering my past experiences here.

We had a really nice stay at this resort, which is perfectly located right by the slopes. The spacious corner unit was a highlight, but some cleanliness issues in the kitchen and maintenance problems took away from the overall experience. While the staff was friendly, there’s definitely room for improvement in how they handle guest concerns. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with great amenities, just a few too many quirks for a top-tier place.

Rooms

The 2 bed, 2 bath corner unit we stayed in was really spacious and comfortable, but the pull-out bed made it feel a bit cramped at times. Everything was nice, but it lacked a few features expected in a hotel of this caliber.
Service
6.0
Service was friendly, but I felt there could have been a better system for handling maintenance requests. I often felt like I was just passed around instead of getting a quick resolution.
Location

The resort is incredibly well-located, right next to the ski lift, which makes it super convenient for outdoor activities. It’s great for anyone looking to hit the slopes without any hassle.

Amenities like the pools, outdoor spas, and activity center were impressive and added a lot to our experience, but I found some areas could use a little more attention to cleanliness.

The Marriott Mountainside offers an ideal ski-in, ski-out experience right next to the Park City Mountain. The amenities, including a massive heated pool and several hot tubs, are fantastic, making it a great spot for families. However, some service experiences were less than favorable, and the management of member perks left a bit to be desired. Overall, you get great facilities, but the service could be improved.

Rooms
8.0
Our two-bedroom suite was spacious, nicely appointed, and clean, with a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable living space.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss; while some staff were helpful, a couple of interactions at the front desk felt unwelcoming, especially regarding member perks.
Location
10.0
The location is amazing; you can easily ski right from the hotel and enjoy stunning mountain views. It's also a short drive or walk to Park City's main street.
Dining
6.0
While we didn't explore dining options extensively, there were limited options available, and we encountered strong encouragement to attend presentations, which felt intrusive.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities are excellent, featuring a large heated pool and numerous hot tubs, perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing.

7.2/10

The resort is beautifully situated right next to the slopes, with spacious units perfect for families. My overall experience was pleasant, but there were a few areas that need improvement, such as cleanliness and timely maintenance response. The facilities could use more attention as well, particularly the transition areas and plumbing issues.

Rooms
7.0
We enjoyed a spacious 2 bed, 2 bath corner unit that was overall clean but had some missed spots that could improve the experience.
Service
6.0
While the staff were polite, the communication regarding the plumbing issue left a lot to be desired. Instead of proper follow-up, I felt like I had to manage the situation myself.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the slopes, making it incredibly convenient for skiing activities.

The hotel has a beautiful setup but some facilities, like the tubs and transitions between different flooring types, need immediate attention.

I was really looking forward to our stay at the Marriott Mountainside, as we have been coming here for years. However, a new policy regarding wristbands for pool access made it frustrating for us to spend time with our family. The location is still lovely and the amenities like the pool and fire pit are nice, but they don't allow family members who aren't staying at the hotel to join. It's really sad to see a place we loved turn into something that's not family-friendly anymore. I think we’ll be looking for a different resort next time.

Rooms
6.0
The accommodations we had were smaller than expected and didn’t have the amenities we typically enjoy at other resorts.
Service
7.0
The staff seemed helpful, but the new policies made my experience feel less welcoming this time around.
Location

The location is wonderful; it’s just a short walk to main street restaurants and shops.
Dining
Facilities

The facilities were clean, but the recent changes regarding pool access really impacted our experience.
